All JSHS participants are automatically expected to reside at the Sheraton Iowa City Hotel on Thursday night. However, if any student will not stay overnight, please let us know beforehand so that we may readjust the room assignments if necessary. Hotel reservations will be made by the JSHS office.
We assign two adults per room and up to four students per room. If your school requires multiple rooms for the students, you may give us the preferred room assignments at the time of registration.
If adults would like a single room, there is a $50 charge per night. Please include this room charge with your school registration fee.
JSHS will pay for hotel accommodations and Friday's banquet. Extra money is needed for personal expenses, such as other meals and snacks, phone calls, movies, etc.
Please let us know if any of the school's delegates will not attend the Friday banquet. If student presenters have parents who would like to attend the Friday banquet, please let us know that as well.
