Welcome to the Center for Credit Programs In cooperation with The University of Iowa’s academic colleges, we deliver credit courses and degree-related course sequences, both on and off campus. A range of courses is offered through distance education using extension sites, Virtual Classroom Technology, the World Wide Web, streaming video, and other technologies. Our Saturday & Evening classes are offered on campus. We’ve Moved! The Division of Continuing Education is now located on the second floor of the U.S. Bank building in downtown Iowa City. Distance Education Catalogs The Division of Continuing Education no longer prints a Distance Education catalog. All courses may be located on The University of Iowa Web site through the Iowa Student Information System, or ISIS. Guided Independent Study (GIS) courses now follow a semester-based registration format. GIS courses may be found on ISIS by using the link above.
