General Education
Program
To broaden their educational horizons, University of Iowa undergraduate students are expected to sample a wide range of subjects through courses approved for General Education (see the list of courses below). If you are a UI degree-seeking student, please check with your college concerning the use of GIS credit to satisfy General Education requirements. A complete list of the requirements can be found in each college's section of The University of Iowa General Catalog. The General Catalog is available online.
The Henry B. Tippie College of Business allows students to use GIS courses for BBA common requirements (though not for major requirements).
