LD Debate Institute is about a staff of champions training champions.  19 former Iowa participants have won the NFL National Tournament.  And, 16 former Iowa participants have won the TOC including the 2008 and 2009 TOC.  The personal and professional collegiality of Iowa's staff is unparalleled.

Policy Debate

Policy Debate Institute is back by popular demand!  Debaters completing their first year of policy debate will find a curriculum that advances their understanding of argument practice and theory.  PDI is an opportunity for 40 debaters to participate in an intensive learning environment that is enjoyable and productive.
