Air-conditioned room. Students and faculty live in Reinow Hall, a fully-equipped, modern residence hall with self-service laundry and vending area. Student rooms are air-conditioned doubles with sinks, beds, desks and chairs. Services include weekly sheets, pillow cases and trash disposal. Pillow and bedding are furnished (TOWELS AND TELEPHONES ARE NOT FURNISHED).

Phone service. Phones are not furnished. Students have the ability to make local calls and long distance calls using phone cards or 1-800 numbers. Phone service is provided, but you will need to provide a phone.

Meals. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided. Students are responsible for any late night pizza or snacks. The food is fresh, but is not of gourmet quality. Vegetarian and non-pork items are available.

All fees. Tuition covers instruction, practice, full library use and photocopying laboratory briefs (photocopy costs are not included for books or articles in the University Libraries, Reserve Collection or from other students).

Local transportation. Free campus bus service is provided. When written permission is received from parents or guardians, students may ride in private vehicles. No student is permitted to drive a vehicle during the Institute. Likewise no student may ride in any vehicle during the Institute that is not provided by the Institute or otherwise without written permission from parent or guardian. Classes, facilities and shopping are located within walking distance of Reinow Hall and are part of the University of Iowa campus.
