Festival Overview |
Skill Levels / Choosing a Workshop A few of our workshops are designated as beginning courses, a few are designated as advanced courses, but most are designed for that vast group of writers who are somewhere in between. You decide which course is best for you based on your goals for the session and the writing you want to work on here. If, for example, you are dealing with problems that arise in later drafts, you might want to look at an advanced course or a course that is devoted primarily to critiquing manuscripts. If you’re just starting out, or you’re stuck, or you’re returning to the page after a long silence, a beginning course or a course that is devoted to generating new work might be more appropriate for you. The clearer you are about your goals for the session, the easier it will be to make a choice. If you need help, we are happy to talk to you about your options.
