Iowa Central Labor Councils can take advantage of a unique educational program offered by the Iowa Federation of Labor, AFL-CIO. (click here for more information on the IFL's educational programs.)
The Iowa Federation of Labor will cover Labor Center fees for four central body programs in a calendar year. The Central Labor Council is responsible only for a small cost for participant materials. To receive State Federation reimbursement, the CLC must guarantee 20 participants.
Click on topics to see brief highlights of these programs:
- One program of your choice (click HERE to see a range of programs--or come up with your own ideas and call the Labor Center 319-335-4144 about them)
- Labor Newsletters A program to help local unions start their own union newsletters is also available and can be reimbursed by the Iowa Federation of Labor for as few as 5 participants.
