Carol Hodne |
Carol Hodne joined the Labor Center staff in January 2004 to work part-time on the Child Labor Public Education Project. She was a graduate research assistant with the Labor Center from Fall 1996 through Spring 1999 and taught classes on workplace stress, leadership, communication, and domestic violence. She is a member of the American Federation of Teachers, Local 716, and was a member of UE Local 896, the Campaign to Organize Graduate Students. Her research and policy interests include: occupational health psychology (e.g., workplace stress), environmental health, socioeconomic issues affecting physical and mental health, and rural development. She has done individual and policy advocacy and community organizing with various constituencies (e.g., family farmers, low-income families, elderly). Education
