ILLRRC History

Iowa Lakeside Lab Regents Resource Center (ILLRRC) was created in 2006, when the Iowa Board of Regents expanded the mission of Iowa Lakeside Laboratory. Founded in 1909 for research and education in the biological sciences, the Laboratory served a largely college student audience. Today the ILLRRC offers both university and public programs, covering a wide variety of topics including science, arts, writing, and entrepreneurship.
