Natural History Workshops are introductory courses suitable for anyone who is interested in learning more about the natural world. One or two credits can be obtained for each week a workshop is taken. All sections of this course can also be taken on a non-credit basis for a fee of $232 per week of class (undergraduate status) through The University of Iowa.
This course provides an opportunity to take part in the first week of the Prairie Ecology course. A field oriented introduction to the tallgrass prairie, prairie plants in flower and fruit, and prairie community sampling. Special presentation on planting a prairie. Meets July 7 to 11, 2008.
