About the College of Public Health Summer Institute—2008
The College of Public Health Summer Institute 2008 is designed
to gather together a wide range of public health professionals
for a period of summer study in core disciplinary areas. Participation
in the Institute provides not only the positive benefits of new
learning that may be applied to work contexts, but also an opportunity
to network with other public health professionals and with academic
experts.
Course work in the Summer Institute is available on the University
of Iowa campus or, in the instance of some courses, via the World
Wide Web. The Institute
provides new students a way to commence or continue study for
a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree, a Certificate in Public
Health, Certificate in Emerging Infectious Disease Epidemiology, or some Master of Science (MS) degree programs.
