Welcome SSTP Alumni. I hear from time to time from SSTP alumni (or from their parents) that this program had a large impact on the participant. Unfortunately, this data is all anecdotal. To my knowledge we have never systematically collected data about the long term effects of program participation. I have design this survey to collect information that is useful to potential funding sources, to the University of Iowa, and to me as both an educator and the SSTP program director. I have made it as brief as possible. I wanted people to be able to fill it out in less than 5 minutes.
This data will help us to design better programs and defend the programs to our sponsors and solicit additional funding for other sponsors to keep the cost to the participants as low as possible. It is essential that we have your input and we very much appreciate your participation.
