Why not spend your summer at Iowa?
The University of Iowa conducts the Summer Session through the Division of Continuing Education with terms of three, six, and eight weeks. There are also classes which are offered outside of these normal Summer Session terms.
You can accelerate your degree work, explore a new interest, or focus on the enhancement of a particular skill. Daytime, on-campus Summer Session courses offer the same excellent instruction as that offered during the regular academic year. There are also opportunities to study abroad and online.

Mission Statement
Summer Session collaborates with various University of Iowa departments to provide a broad and balanced array of high quality academic courses that enable students to pursue undergraduate, graduate, and professional academic degrees. We support a variety of pre-college programs which may serve to recruit students, serve as bridge programs, and encourage continued intellectual development. Summer Session also strives to provide many cultural and intellectual events on campus for students, staff, and the surrounding community.
