Mission Statement

The Division of Continuing Education collaborates with various University of Iowa departments during Summer Session to provide a broad and balanced array of high quality academic courses that enable students to pursue undergraduate, graduate, and professional academic degrees. We support a variety of pre-college programs which may serve to recruit students, serve as bridge programs, and encourage continued intellectual development. We also strive to offer many cultural and intellectual summer events on campus for students, staff, and the surrounding community.
