Research has always been an integral part of Iowa Lakeside Laboratory’s summer program. Because of the abundance of natural areas, particularly lakes, wetlands, and prairies, and archaeological sites in and around Lakeside, excellent opportunities exist for developing research projects for both established and beginning researchers. Laboratory space and room and board at student rates are available to qualified researchers. Scholarships are also available for graduate students who are working on research at Lakeside.
